Meet Bettina Skye
Early childhood and Bettina fell in love with acting, and acting fell in love with HER! Soon after, during elementary school, acting classes would begin and an invitation to play the role of “Lord Peanut Butter” on a local cable children’s network.
This passion led to a Theater Scholarship at Albany State University before Bettina transferred to Yeshiva University (Stern College for Women)
At the age of 18, Bettina got accepted into the prestigious THE ACTOR’S STUDIO and studied with the legendary Lee Strasberg as well as Ellen Burstyn, Shelley Winters, and Elia Kazan.
In 1999 Bettina started studying with Sande Shurin who is a mentor till this day.
This passion to delve into a wide range of eccentric characters would lead Bettina on a journey through Israel, Europe and back to New York where she would reinvent her acting career. Not to be understated was her real life experiences along the way, which fueled the fire of her acting aspirations- working as an Exotic Dancer, a Clown, owner of a party entertainment business, a Tarot reader, and VortexHealing® practitioner.
Suffice to say, there is no shortage of real-life experiences to draw upon for her craft. Bettina’s mission is to inspire and move others to have a better understanding of our human condition and to accept and love each other as we are.
Bettina Skye currently resides in Warwick NY with her loving drummer husband Steve Rubin and Shitzhu/Bichon puppy Zoop and a real life Vegan so-peanut butter is most definitely her jam!
